Hello there, friend,

Today the temperatures are supposed to reach seventy. It's a minor miracle in the middle of March: short sleeves, melting snow, happy kiddos. Yesterday we put some of the screens in and opened the windows. It was such a relief. Even though this winter was very mild, there's something about those first spring-like days. You can feel the pressure release, the cabin fever subside. We can go outside again. Hallelujah!

This morning, in particular, we needed to go outside even before the bus came. We clipped the dog to her leash, and the kids and I walked her down the street. And by walked I mean they all ran off, screaming with delight (well, not the dog). I breathed deeply, listening to the birds singing their happy morning song, and watched my children in all their childlike glory. It felt incredible.

xo,
L
